Day 1: Destination Naples

Day 2: Naples - Sorrento

 A Dolcevita Representative will greet you at the airport and will help coordinate getting your group from luggage pick-up to your transfer bus but will not accompany the group
Visit the National Archaeological Museum, where most of the best preserved
mosaics and items from Pompeii are kept
Board your motor coach and continue on to Sorrento, perched atop cliffs that
separate the town from its busy marinas
Join your group leader on a discovery walk of Sorrento; see the cafe-lined square
of Piazza Tasso, the narrow alleys of the historic center and admire the magnificent
view of the Bay of Naples from the Villa Comunale
Enjoy dinner at the restaurant with your group

Day 3: Sorrento - Capri

 Breakfast at the hotel with your group

Board a high-speed hydrofoil and head to Capri
Take a chairlift to the top of Monte Solaro, the Island’s highest point, and enjoy the
view. Walk along Viale Amedeo Maturi to get to Villa Jovis, the palace built by emperor
Tiberius and completed in AD 27
Enjoy some leisure time in Anacapri – a pretty whitewashed little town with
picturesque alleys and pedestrian lanes!
Visit the beautiful Blue Grotto, the emblem of the island of Capri; See the crystalline
blue ocean with silver reflections and experience this marvel of nature, you feel as if
you are suspended in the heavens (subject to tide/weather conditions)
Return to Sorrento by Hydrofoil

Day 4: Sorrento - Amalfi Coast

 Breakfast at the hotel with your group
Board your bus and head out to the Amalfi Coast
Take a guided tour of the Amalfi Coast to view the sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline
dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages
Board your motor coach and return to Sorrento

Day 5: Sorrento - Florence - Pisa

 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group

Board your motorcoach and transfer to the Naples train station, board a Frecce train and head to Florence
Board your bus and head out to Pisa
At the Miracle Square, take photos of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and then
climb to the top as a Bucket List experience and for its beautiful view.

Day 6: Florence

 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group
Meet your local guide for a walking tour of Florence including the Duomo-Florence’s
Gothic Santa Maria del Fiori Cathedral, the Museo dell’Opera, the open-air
sculpture museum in the Piazza della Signoria, and Santa Croce Basilica. It is
the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo,
Galileo, Machiavelli, Foscolo, Gentile and Rossini; thus it is known also as The
Temple of the Italian Glories . Then enter the Accademia and see with your own
e ye s Michelangelo’s David and some of the most famous works of art and
masterpieces that have marked mankind’s artistic innovation through the centuries.
Finally, Visit the Uffizi Gallery , an incredible museum, with over 60 halls full of
impressive and stunning works of art from the 12th century up to the 16th century
Walk to the Ponte Vecchio and browse the many goldsmith and silversmith shops
Enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the city from the Piazzale Michelangelo.

Day 7: Florence - Rome

 Have breakfast at the hotel

Transfer by motor coach from your hotel to the train station, board your Frecce train and head to Rome.
Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage. Check-in will be done later
Enjoy a discovery tour of Baroque Rome with your group leader; stroll through the
streets and alleys of the city center to visit the most famous squares, fountains and
palaces. From the Spanish Steps to the spectacular Trevi Fountain, on to the
amazing architecture of the Pantheon, and the lively atmosphere of Piazza
Navona, with its Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini

Day 8: Rome - Vatican City

With a local guide, visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum including the Raphael Rooms, Tapestry Gallery & Sistine Chapel, then have time to discover St-

Enjoy lunch on your own
Explore Trastevere; located in the 13th rione of Rome, thanks to its unique

Walk along the road of The Imperial Forum, constructed in Rome over a period of one and a half centuries. Notice The forum of Caesar and the temple of Venus Genetrix,
Forum of Augustus with the temple of Mars Ultor, Remains of the peristyle of the
Temple of Minerva, The forum of Trajan
Explore the most monumental elements of this majestic city with your local guide who
will bring to life the spirit of Ancient Roman; the Colosseum, where gladiators once
battled, the Roman Imperial Forum with focus on Roman mythology and a walk
through the Roman Forum ending at the Palatine Hill

Make a wish as you toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain, legend says it will one day
