The Cinque Terre is a rugged portion of the Ligurian Riviera di Levante on the territory of the province of La Spezia between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero, in which there are five villages or, as he once said, land, listed here from west to east: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore. They are part of the Ligurian Riviera, and more precisely the stretch of the Riviera di Levante (Riviera and La Spezia).
Since 1997 are part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the following motivation: “The eastern Ligurian coast of the Cinque Terre it is an exceptionally valuable cultural landscape which represents the harmonious interaction settled between man and nature to produce a landscape of exceptional quality, which manifests a way of millennial traditional life and continues to play a leading role in the socio-economic life of society. ”

Day 1: Versilia area
Day 2: Cinque Terre
Military arsenal, gulf and the Alps. After a few kilometers you can reachthe coast of Cinque Terre with its terraces modeled by clay. The steep coastline is nominated by the UNESCO as World Heritage. Trip along the famous walking trail between Manarola and Riomaggiore called “Via dell’Amore” Love’s Trail, known as the “Path of Love”. – Departure by train to Monterosso Lunch in a restaurant .
In the afternoon return by boat to “La Spezia”. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight
Day 3: Pisa - Lucca
Free time and lunch in a restaurant near the Leaning Tower. Guided visit in the afternoon to the splendid city of Lucca, noted for its intact walls around the city centre, with a walk through mediaeval alleys with their wealth of traces from several periods, like the Cathedral, the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and the Piazza Napoleone.
Return to hotel at the end of the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay
Day 4: Florence
Lunch in a restaurant and afternoon free for shopping or a visit to one of Florence’s museums, like the Uffizi Gallery, certainly the most famous, the Accademia Gallery or the Palazzo Pitti.

Day 5: Siena - San Gimignano
Palazzo Pubblico. Free time for a stroll in the characteristic streets of the old city centre followed by lunch in a restaurant. The guided visit continues in the afternoon to San Gimignano, a charming mediaeval town in the heart of Tuscany, enclosed by walls and famous for its 16 towers, which have earned it the name of the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages

Day 6: Carrara
In the afternoon free time. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight
Day 7: Portovenere
Short stopover on Palmaria. Return to Portovenere. Lunch in a restaurant In the early afternoon departure to Lerici. Time at leisure.
